My job calls for me to write -- technical, business writing. Not so much fun! What I'd really love is the TIME to get creative! Write poetry, short stories, a journal, an autobiography or even a novel! But reality gets in the way. I need a paycheck and with two teenage girls, a husband, a house, a dog, sisters and an extended family, there's no extra time!
So my niece suggested I start a blog! What a fun way to express thoughts, ideas and reflections on life -- whether they're reflections on relationships, every day events, funny happenings or sad times. It's a way to put my thoughts in writing (or a way to "think ink.")
I invite each visitor to do the same. Share your own thoughts (as long as they're clean, of course.) Let your creativity flow. I'm hoping this blog is not only a vehicle for me to share my thoughts and writing skills, but also to learn from participating bloggers so I can improve my writing.
